We really ave a problem with the counter displayed on our favicon, it stresses our users (they don't get the meaning and the counter is not very relevant in this context, often displaying things like "6" ou "12").

It would be useful to have a setting to deactivate it.

Note also that the favicon space can be used by customers for the same usage, not our case now but can evolve in the future.
